Inner Heal is a wellness application centred on self-reflection. It brings mood tracking and journaling into one place and uses Gemini-powered insights to help users reflect on their entries.
What I built
- Full-stack application using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- 10+ REST API endpoints with JWT authentication.
- Mood tracking and journaling flows, with AI-generated summaries and insights through Gemini.
- MongoDB aggregation pipelines for working with user and journal data.
Scale and learning
The project resume records 500+ users. Building it provided hands-on experience integrating a generative AI API into a product workflow, designing authenticated APIs, and connecting user-generated data to useful application features.
